Relationships are just that \u2013 you \u201crelate\u201d yourself to another person, place or thing.\u00a0 You relate yourself to a \u201csituation\u201d or experience.\u00a0 We are constantly in relationships.\u00a0 Often times we look at our relationships as to what we can get out of them:\u00a0 a relationship with a lover may give you comfort, a relationship with a job may give you money, a relationship with a musical instrument may give you the excitement to play.\u00a0 This is how most people relate and people can learn from such relationships.\u00a0 However, wouldn\u2019t it be better if we didn\u2019t think of what we can get out of each relationship, but what we can give to them?\u00a0 \u00a0For example, the lover, you can give your heart and your support, for the job you can give your creativity and finesse, with the musical instrument you can give music to a suffering world.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Life changes when you start focusing on giving.\u00a0 \u00a0And once you start giving, it becomes an addiction \u2013 it feels so good you don\u2019t want to stop.\u00a0 You find ways to give in any situation\/relationship.\u00a0 You lose your ego during the process, but eventually, you gain the world (your soul).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
