Total surrender makes life easier and yet more fulfilling. When we try to run the show we can make a bloody mess of it – leaving victims in our wake. We push and pull and drag our feet. We manipulate and maneuver to get what we think we deserve and often times we suffer (and others suffer) because of it. Our wants and so-called needs are from our limited view of things. We can’t see the full picture because our focus is on the individual. When we (if we) surrender (dropping our ego off at the door) we are guided by a higher power/knowing/point of view. This point of view is not just of self but of the greater picture. Actions become more for the highest good and less for you. However, you will benefit – for those actions are natural, flowing, without strings attached. They are guided by the light, so to speak. You become one with the flow of humanity and peace enters your heart.
