Sometimes we need to just stop and regroup.  Things that we use to do aren’t working; ways that we use to think aren’t making sense; those we use to love, fall away.  It is okay to stop and take some time when there are major shifts occurring in your life.  Sometimes we need time to process the change in our mind/body/spirit.  The brain needs to integrate the change in your thinking, your body needs to feel the change and process the emotions that go with it, and your spirit may need to make some recalibrations as well as it gains new karmic understandings and insights.  Regardless of the reasons for needing a break during big life changes, just know that it is better to process and work through changes while they are happening, then to rush your way through them, with self-medication (drugs/alcohol) and/or denial.  Take a breather and feel and understand as change is taking place in your life, and know that all is well, change is inevitable, and you will survive – and thrive.
