No one can take away your joy. No one can take away your loving heart except for one person – you. Of course we are influenced by our environment. We become more joyous when in the company of joyous people; we are happy with those who speak kindly toward us and to whom we can share love. But in the end, our joyousness comes through ourselves – because it is a perception and that perception source is you. Unless you allow others to “man the controls” your perception runs through you. Now of course we have challenges and even with the best of spiritual practice we get hurt. But with more and more meditation, and more and more light, other’s influence will be less and less. Imagine a protective shield of light around you. It comes from all the light and love in your heart, which comes from all the love and light from the divine source and mother gaia. It comes from your angels or spiritual protectors. Bathe in the light. Walk in it, perceive from it and realize it is your birthright and no one (NO ONE!) can take it from you.
