Anxiety is a detrimental force that wears on the mind/body/spirit by over-taxing the system (by running it on a constant “high”).  Even when right here and right now, everything is perfect and a nice equilibrium is where you COULD be.  When people are overly anxious they, of course, are “reeling” in the future possibilities, back and forth, up and down and every way sideways.  These options, or scenarios, or a million to one possibilities, are examined and destroyed.  We don’t know what the future will bring so we try to create it in our minds so we feel more “prepared”.  All those one thousand possibilities you are working through in your minds-eye . . . only one will come true and I’m sure it is the best one for you so why even focus on the remaining 999?  Looking through all those options just provides more fuel for them to manifest anyway.  Sticking with the now will help in that regard.  Of course we know that anything bad can happen at any time and if we stay in the present we will have a better opportunity to “feel” what that may be. The thousand possibilities will just leave you scattered and sacred and truly unprepared anyway because you won’t be “present” enough to if and when something drastic does come.  And I know there is pain and things can be very sad on earth today – but dwelling on the bad just creates a sense of more and more bad.  Our job is to manifest a new and brighter day and WAY, and to do that we stay here, now, and we open our heart and say thank you; the rest will follow.
