There is a time for patience and a time for action. Sometimes it is hard to know when to act and when to wait. It is always best to go with your intuition. Can you feel it in your body saying: “yes, now is the time!” or “I really want to do this or that thing but it just doesn’t seem like the right time . . . not just yet.” Try to go with that monitor when it comes to your actions. Watch what you do and when you do it; afterward think back and say – how was I feeling about this action at the time: was I getting a 100% “go ahead” or was there a good 30 or 40 or 50% feeling of resistance in my body just before executing the action. Soon you will be able to feel what your body is trying to tell you about your decisions. You can also do “the emotion code” by having your body be like a pendulum. You stand straight with your feet together and you say “my name is ___________” as a test, and your body should lean slightly forward if the statement is true. So from now on, forward will be your “yes” answer movement. Then proceed to ask your body yes and no questions. After each, if your body moves forward the answer is yes and if your body moves backward, the answer is no. Make sure the questions are direct questions and do not contain “should”. For example, it is better to say “it would benefit me right now to drive to the store” instead of “I should drive to the store.” And then see if your body leans forward or backward and make your moves accordingly. Good luck.
