Paradise is in you . . . have you found it yet?  You don’t need to go to Jamaica or Bermuda or New Zealand to find it – it is right here and has been all along.  Close your eyes and ask to go there, ask to see it and ask to feel it.  Close your eyes and let your perception change to one of beauty and warmth and sunshine and love.  Imagine your toes in the sand and the dolphins jumping out of the water just for you.  It doesn’t matter where you are and what you “need” to do, you can always find that paradise within you to brighten the day and lighten the load just by switching your perception or your point of view.  And you don’t have to make-believe most of the time, either.  In each situation of the day, with a new point of view, you can find beauty in all you do and in all around you.  If you find that is difficult, start easy, find a child or dog to focus on – there is a great amount of light and warmth coming from them.  Then change your focus a bit more to find beauty in your friends and lovers; then start looking for beauty in your co-workers and neighbors. Then when you are use to finding beauty in all those people, try your enemies.  You can do it because as you start to look for beauty in every situation, you won’t have a need for enemies because life will flow smoother and you’ll forget enemies even existed.
