Don’t be afraid. So easily those words to say and so difficult those words to do. As we try to quell our fears, one way of relieving (re-LEAVE-ing) them, is to first pick them up, hold them, and look them straight on. As you hold many up to the light you will see they are unwarranted fears; things you can’t do anything about and are mostly “in your head.” Write them down on a piece of paper. Make a card or paper for each one. Look at them and see if you can throw any away (don’t fear, you can pull them out of the trash later if you need to). Those that remain on paper, write down alternative ways of seeing this FEAR (sometimes referred to False Evidence Appearing Real). Write down resolutions (re-SOLVE-utions). Very good; now let’s leave these and move on. Sit and meditate and feel the remaining fear in your body/mind/spirit. Where do you hold it? In your gut? Your neck and shoulders? In your head (ache)? This fear in your body will take longer to comb through but it is there for you to re-SOLVE just like the others. It is a deeper layer of the onion so some digging may be in order. Childhood issues, lost loves, regret and remorse, even feelings of hopelessness hide in your body masking as illness or dis-EASE. Focus on an area that holds your fear and tension. Ask what it relates to in your life. If you can’t seem to uncover the mental/spiritual cause for your physical pain or symptom, look up Louise Hay’s work that relates illness with “issues.” See if that gives you a clue. Finally, after all the uncovering of the fear in your body/mind/spirit you may still notice some unease remaining. This may not be yours at all. We often time take on the fear flying around in the super consciousness: all the cultural dos and don’ts, all the uneasiness of the human condition living on this sometimes harsh planet. Pray for these fears, send them love and light, and ask for them to be re LEASED, so you can move forward in your life, with love and freedom.
