Just look at the children and you will believe that we are evolving.  Oh, it is just because we spoil them, you may say, or it is all those computers and TV that has them so different than my generation.  But, even if those are considerations in the change of our children, it is still a group difference and still evolution.  But I say to you, it is not just here, in the heart of technology and self-indulgence where the children are different – it is across the globe in places where there is no exposure to technology or being “spoiled”.  We’ve had to change, you see.  You know that.  The species who thinks of the self over the group just may not survive: over eating, over indulging, over working, greed, deception in government, fear and oppression . . .  whoo  – dark and lonely stuff.  A movement away from this old way and a moving toward a new way (lighter, brighter, leaner, more transparent, respectable, communal, fair and just):  moving away from the “dark ages” and moving into the light where there is singing, dancing, joy and celebration.  Let’s take the time to look on the next generation and assist them so they may better guide us through the shift and into the light.
