Take time for yourself to unwind.  Most days, most of us walk around with a thousand things on our mind, fifty things we are trying to remember, twenty-five things we are hoping to forget, and the other twenty -five are things that repeat day in and out.  None of these things are helpful to you when it comes to healing, sleeping or loving.  Yet it is in and for these states that we need to unwind.  Breathe in and out, breathe in and out, recite a mantra, say a prayer or sing a song.  Clear your mind.  If that seems impossible for you, just tell yourself it is just for a moment (even though we want to eventually work up to a nice evening of a restful bliss state:  one that is perfect for healing, sleeping and loving).  Yoga is perfect to get to this state, so is a nice hike, jog, or even a laughing session can be helpful.  Try a laughing session soon; I guarantee you will enjoy it.  Try it with yourself or with others.  The goal is to laugh and from the laughter will be such joy and release.  Start with a giggle, and keep at it.  This will generate more and more intensity from others in the group or from yourself – feeling silly that you are trying this in the first place.  Laugh and laugh and laugh like you’re crazy.  Oh heavens, it is so good for your body, mind and spirit and for that of those around you (animal, plant and even mineral).  Laugh until you vibrate the ground beneath you, the ocean, the wind.  Your surroundings will start in the laugh-fest too and smiles will spread across the galaxy.
