Anxious? Feeling “antsy”? Feel a need to be “on your toes?” We think this pre-cognitive state is helpful when we have a lot to do ; that it will help keep us one step ahead of the game and for some, this might be true, but another way that you may find more effective is “the flow” approach. If you live and breathe and work in “the flow” you will have all the time you need to accomplish what gets accomplished today, you move from one task to another seamlessly, you lose the sense of anxiety and fear in your body as it relates to “what needs to be done.” You become more grounded and clear. To practice functioning from the source of “the flow” you ground your energy down and concentrate on your breath, you let things come to you instead of forcing time and tasks and people your way; you “let go” and feel yourself gliding and guided. I am one particle in this ever flowing universe, you may say, and I am happy to be here doing my part in the great scheme of things. As you work and live from the flow, you may also start seeing things from “the great scheme” – which is an excellent point of view. Enjoy, enjoy – whether you are flowing or anxiously doing your chores – please try to enjoy. This day will not return. It is here once and then gone. Let go and flow into it; you’ll like it – I promise.
