There are a variety of trees. There are a variety of flowers. There are a variety of birds and fish and bees, but is there a variety of man? We have male and female, rich and poor, black and white, and short and tall. Are there different “types” of people in this world or are we all one-in-the-same? Each person here is experiencing their own reality with a cast of players around them. Their categorization of people comes from their perspective or their relationship to them. To Bill, let’s say, Susan appears tall or mean or red-headed. But to Frank, she may appear just right in every way.
So what is real if everything is point of view? There must be some standard of reality if there truly are a variety of species of trees or flowers or fish or bees. We are not making that up, are we? All of the words that we use and the judgments that we make are man-made and one person’s (or a group of people’s) take on reality. If that is the case, why trust it? Not to mention that even when most in society agree on the definition of something that is; that definition is still likely to change with time and a switch in the paradigm (or overarching way of looking at things).
For example, many things that existed two hundred years ago do not exist today and of course much of what exists today did not exist two hundred years ago and if it did, it was probably defined quite differently. We are all experimenting on this big blue earth. Try not to get stuck in categories of things and boxes and niches. Things change every day in a flow of evolution. Allowing that there is this flow and sense of evolving and allowing that most of what you see is not necessarily “so” but just your point of view or perspective can allow you to experience the world around you as your life worth living. Your time to be the best human you can be; not just for the good of the earth and those who surround you, but for the good of the evolution of YOU.
