We all take turns: the givers; the receivers: the yin and yang; the chalice and the pitcher.  It takes giving and receiving as the basis of creating life – another human being – the “birds and the bees” so to speak.  What does giving and receiving mean to you?  Can you work both ends?  Can you receive when someone else is helping you, or give when someone else needs your help?  For the average human it helps to be a balance yin and yang so that you can do both.  In certain animal kingdoms, that is not always the case, but in our species, in this culture, it is healthy to be balanced.  That doesn’t mean you can’t get by in life without this balance – it just may be that other people won’t necessarily want to be around you that much and/or you won’t be in a position to grow.  There were past lives where we were unbalanced, because that is how society was – unbalanced – and we had to fit our roll as man or woman or child or elder.  Those times have changed and we are all mixed up when it comes to giving and receiving – yin and yang.  But know too that we’ve had many lifetimes in various roles so we know this stuff.  As we balance ourselves in the yin/yang in this life, we will gravitate others to us of the same vibration and then a symbiotic relationship can occur. . .
