Taking the time for self-care is important, for you and for those you love. You cannot be the best you without maintenance. It is good to give, give, give, but at times you need to provide that to yourself as well. There is always time to rest – don’t deny yourself these basics: food, sleep, contemplation, exercise, fresh air, and dancing. Yes, I just threw dancing in there to remind you of enjoying yourself too. All these things make for a more balanced individual. We all need balance in these days of accelerated vibrations. We don’t want to burn ourselves out! Being too stressful, to intense, or even too celebratory can do that. A time to give and a time to receive: yin and yang – imagine that.
