Sometimes we are quiet and peaceful and at other times irritated and anxious. Sometimes we are joyfully elated and at other times morose. And these are just the outside, superficial, emotions. Deep inside there is a flow of who we are; themes and traits we were born with. Some people, at their core, are quiet, others peaceful, and others anxious and morose. These traits are longstanding, brought over from past lives, influenced by our DNA, and are, in general, more difficult to change – though they can be changed. Finding the core you can be done with meditation, yoga, self-work and letting go. You are breaking off the outer layers of the onion now. After much work and balancing here, you will get to the core – the inner layers. These are thicker and the center is the seed of it all; your essence. We want to break away the layers so we can be less affected by environmental factors; we want to break away the outer layers to get to the core. If we find imbalance here, at the core, we can continue to clear ourselves through past life regression or working through karma. We can do these things or not do these things. Most people don’t get past a few layers and many don’t even care to do that. If you decide to work on shedding your layers, so you can find that space of freedom and pure bliss within, I commend you. It is a task of a lifetime, but it is worth eternity.
