Today is a beautiful word – to honor this day – “to the day!” Let’s get excited for the new opportunity:  the sun above us, the food on our tables, the family, friends, or pets who keep us company.  Let’s say, “Wow, look how far I’ve come, how many obstacles, and today, on this day, here I am – alive and kickin’ – ready to go again.  Good for me!”  Breathe in and out deeply before you leave your bed in the morning.  Say loving kind words to your significant other, pet, and self.  Breathe deeply again.  Think on your dreams and write them down or tell someone about them.  Survey your body – how do you feel today?  Let go of any judgments and if you feel pretty darn good than get excited about that.  If not, ask your higher self or God/divine presence what you can do to help your body (such as eat something special, exercise, sleep more, take a certain supplement).  Create some affirmations for today based on your wants, needs and desires.  “I have enough time today to enjoy my work and be productive” or “I am beautiful and love my body, my vessel; it serves me well” or “I attract all I need.”  Be grateful to experience this day knowing you are strong and healthy and loving and beautiful.  Now get out there and enjoy.
