When darkness falls in the form of a tragedy or death I hear your prayers. The group feels your remorse, your pain, your loss; what we individually do about it – react toward it, can vary greatly. Sympathy, understanding, and love are usually what is in order, however, there are so many who are stressed and afraid and “blocked” in their own drama, they ignore you, who are hurting; they are too self focused and act like they can’t feel your pain. Many younger people, in comparison, are empathic beyond belief. They not only feel your pain, they can help disperse it, diffuse it, with their own loving kindness. You don’t have to be of the younger generations to do this, however, it is just easier for them for so many understand the law of one. Some cultures understand the law of one and because they do the majority of their society takes the art of caring for their brother very seriously (or should I say very naturally). The law of one – you are your brother – you are part and parcel of the collective whole: we rise together or we don’t rise at all. Your enlightenment enlightens the group. Your nightmare (drug abuse, war, illness, even anger) darkens it. Balance is good but evolution is better. Onward and upward we go.
