We all walk our own path.  Sometimes it joins with another, sometimes it crosses another, sometimes there are head-on collisions.  But each path is unique and therefor cannot be (or should not be) judged by you or any man.  Have you walked that path with them day by day and step by step?  Even your child is not on your path with you:  they walk off to school, they walk off to the mall, they walk away – they are on their own path.  Even if you are with someone day to day, you still are not on the same path but more like on parallel paths:  they are seeing things from a different point of view than you (like you are in the right lane and they are in the left).  We should never judge another’s experience for we have not known where they’ve been and what they‘ve been through, nor how they experienced the journey.  And when it comes to children – they are not ours, you know.  We are merely surrogate keepers and safeguards for a divine being born through us.  May we care for them to the best of our ability.
