There is a time to laugh and I time to cry and there is a time for every emotion in between. It is okay to be sad; it is okay to feel care-free. Sometimes it is good to “connect” with your mind/body/spirit and feel where the sadness is and talk to it: what does this relate to? Where do I feel it in my body? How can I process this emotion so it can be resolved, accepted, released? This is good for old hurts and pain. Sometimes, when new pain occurs, all we can do is sit in it. Let those around you comfort you. Breathe through it; don’t get anxious about it. If sadness sweeps over you and there is a reason for this sadness, be present for it as you would be present for your happiness. Love it all, this life, this wonder. Breathe, breathe, breathe. Tomorrow will be another day.
