Where are you right now? Are you living in the moment? Or has the moment passed you by and you were off doing something else: reliving moments you regret, cherish, loath. If you loathed a certain experience when it happened the first time, why would you bring it into another moment of your life ; to spoil yet another moment of your life? To relive a cherished moment is an excellent way to spend an afternoon, especially if doing so helps elevate your mood from the one you had before. However, hanging out in the past is kind of a waste of time, in general, don’t you see? This is where it’s at: right here and now. You can’t help a friend in need if you are focused on yourself and how you may have reacted in the past. You can’t make love to its fullest extent; you can’t fully engage yourself, so to speak, if you are not “all there.”
Let’s raise-up our consciousness by simply having all the pieces of us present during each moment. You can waste many pieces of your consciousness due to reincarnation factors, alone. Do you have nightmares of knives or swords; do you have fears of heights or of starving to death (or simply not having enough food to satisfy yourself)? See how that could be coming from a past life experience? After you clear up other pieces of you that are scattered due to experiences in this life, you can work on clearing up those out of focus due to past life experiences as well. How? Shine the light on them, is all you have to do. Expose them as distractions or unfocused pieces of yourself and witness to them. What are the feelings around these scattered pieces and how does that affect you now? Feel their physical manifestation – how does it make you feel in your body? When you have thoughts of lack or “not enough” when it comes to money or food or love, where does it show up physically in your body?
Work through it by witnessing it: being, feeling and walking around in it, so it gets a chance to show itself once again, and for the last time. “Yes, I know you. I am afraid of the cold because I froze to death in Greenland. Okay, I understand that now, I see it, feel it, accept it as what it is, but that concept is a false one in this life. I won’t freeze to death here in my comfortable environment, so you can be “let go” – out of body, mind and spirit, and that is one more scattered piece of me back in the present to enjoy the life that is going on right now.
Take time to clean up your stuff so you can be more clear and present. And forgive any of those dark corners you’ve been avoiding for so long. It is okay to have them – we all do – it served a function at one time but now we can shine light on that dark corner and go in and really clean house.
