Together we become one – only together can we see the full face of the divine – since we are each a piece of that divine that has been scattered about this great wide earth. Where is my soul-mate, people ask, where is my special someone? The divine is vast and we are small and it takes our entirety to get close to that which makes up the one divine force (and that isn’t even counting the fish and birds and beasts of the field) – they are the pacemakers for this divine creation; grounding us to this earth and regulating our pulse. And can’t a fuzzy bear cub warm your heart or the kangaroo make you smile? We need all of this. We will never understand all of it – we won’t – unless we come together and recognize our divine brilliance in every beast, being, firefly and droplet of water. It doesn’t take the mind to make this happen; just the beat of an open heart.
