Suggestions for KarmaFest

BEFORE THE FESTIVAL

1) Bring a yoga mat, if you have one, if not, bring a small blanket or towel.

2)  If you plan to experience the shamanic journey, you may want to bring a pillow,
eye covers, sleeping bag or blanket with you, as well as a journal to record your
observations after the journey.

3) If you haven’t pre-registered, you will need to pay by cash or check for the
entrance fee of $12 per day (I’m sorry we do not take credit cards at the door – even
though individual vendors may).

4) If you have a drum (bongo or shamanic) bring it to play Saturday or Sunday at the
drum circle!  If you have another instrument, you would like to bring instead, feel free.

5) Bring a journal.

6) Bring your bathing suit - the pool is open!  ($2 a person for pool entry).

ON THE DAY OF THE FESTIVAL

7) Arrive early, so you get the most for your money.  The first sessions begin at 10
am, so you may want to get to the festival prior to that - around 9:30 - to check in.

8) Read the agenda and map out what lectures you wish to see and what activities
(yoga/meditation/shamanic journey) you wish to participate in.

9) If you are interested in purchasing an additional Shamanic Journey or Workshop
with Virginia Abel, or The Cosmic Field Trip with Heather Hovis, you can sign up for
that now by going onto the reservation page.  If you wish to have massage, reiki, or a
psychic reading, during the festival, go to The New Lodge (Deer Creek Overlook) or
psychic pavilion early, and make an appointment for a convenient time in your day
with the service vendor of your choice.

10) Enjoy your day.

11) If you have never been to the
King and Queen Seat at Rocks State Park, you
may wish to see this before you leave (it is located less than 2 miles away and is
quite beautiful).
Directions to this site:  Turn right out of the festival, cross
the bridge, turn right onto Rt 24 North, turn left before the next bridge, turn
left into the main entrance to Rocks State Park (drive up the hill).  Trail will
take you to the rocky ledge.
