While working for the Red Cross and Hurricane Katrina Relief at a shelter outside of New
Orleans, the Red Cross volunteers were offered meditation in the evenings, by LEOTHA, to
help us relax. Just after one night, I felt like a new person. The first few days in Louisiana, I
was so stressed out I couldn't sleep, I wasn't breathing right, and I felt I could never make it
through my three week's deployment. After the meditation, however, I felt so much better.
With some guidance from LEOTHA, I learned how to relax, breath, and clear my head of
stressors and ‘mind chatter'. When it was time to return home to Maryland, I decided I
wanted to recreate the positive experience for other people, so I came up with the idea of a
retreat. I got home in November and coordinated a retreat to take place on February 11 and
12, 2006 at Oregon Ridge, Maryland called "Journey Within." After the success of the
retreat, I decided it was time to reach more people, so now we have KarmaFest. LEOTHA
will be there doing meditation, as well as a shamanic journey each day. I can't wait to share
this experience with others!

Before Leotha’s meditation I was drained of my life energy. I’m a single parent experiencing
more major changes in one year than ever. I was very tired. At the first mediation I
immediately I felt a very strong sense of protection, acceptance, welcoming (home coming)
and safety like nothing before.
Also something new… my psychic abilities heightened and I could “see” interesting things
even before the meditation. His guided meditation is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. It
